It has been used in the treatment of infectious diseases such as respiratory and urinary systems. Suprax is resistant to beta-lactamases. Suprax is a cephalosporin antibiotic which bactericidal effect made it useful for treatment of infectious diseases such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, moderate otitis, non-severe infections of urogenital tract, gonococcal infection of the urethra and cervix, gonorrhea. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic active against different aerobic and anaerobic gram positive and gram negative organisms including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Capsules of Suprax, A. An antimicrobial agent for the treatment of respiratory infections of the respiratory tract Suprax is used mainly for the treatment of respiratory and urinary ailments. It is effective against various respiratory pathogens, especially those caused by streptococcus. Its activity against Streptococcus pyogenes, the most common Gram Negative Gram positive pathogens, is also very effective.
