Rulide is approved for use as an antibacterial agent for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections. Rulide is contraindicated when used in the setting of severe diarrhea, or when the dose or route used causes diarrhea. The most common side effects of Rulide are fever, headache, chest pain, and/or nausea. If severe or serious side effects arise after treatment with Rulide, please report the event to your pharmacist, and your doctor. What are the recommended dosing regimens for Rulide® for treatment of acute, moderately severe acute diarrhea caused by resistant pathogens? Rulide® for treatment of acute diarrhea caused by resistant pathogens can be used in two different regimens. Rulide for treatment of moderate to severe acute upper respiratory tract infections Rulide for treatment of moderate to severe acute upper respiratory tract infections can be used in a single-antibiotic Rulide is used to treat bacterial infections in hospitals, nursing homes, and other outpatient settings.
