Anaprox is used to treat a variety of different types of arthritis including osteoarthritis (inflammation of the joints), chronic pain, and multiple sclerosis (a degenerative disease caused by inflammation of nerve cells).  The drug is also used to control pain of different kinds, including pain associated with certain conditions.
